ABOUT THE COMPETITION

The Kangaroo Math Competition is administered in approximately 100 countries under the France-based “Kangourou Sans Frontières Association.”

Each year, approximately 6 million students participate in the Kangaroo Math Competition. With this number of participants, the competition has become as anticipated and essential as the IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad).

The Kangaroo competition relates to daily life and fun. Through this approach, it aims to change the ingrained notion that “mathematics is difficult and boring” in students’ minds and make mathematics more popular among students.

As Kilittaşı Schools, we participate in this competition every year to increase our students’ interest in mathematics.
